Assignment instructions:
PART ONE: Group or Individual Pitch Presentation (40%):
Format:
• 8 minutes (individual) or up to 15 minutes (group of 3 maximum)
• Delivered live or as a recorded presentation
• Supported by slides or a visual aid (e.g. infographic, prototype mock-up, or short video demo) Task:
Pitch a new idea, initiative, or innovation that addresses a health/business-related problem.
Your pitch should include:
1. The problem you are solving and why it matters.
2. The target users or beneficiaries (patients, staff, community, etc.).
3. Your innovative solution and its unique value proposition.
4. A brief overview of your business model (e.g., using the Business Model Canvas).
5. Key points on implementation or scaling.
6. A call to action — what you need to make this idea happen (funding, partners, etc.). Creative Element (optional but encouraged):
Use storytelling, visuals, or a prototype demo to engage your audience.
